DNA Festival Gastronomico, we can't miss it!

Essences The second edition of the DNA Gastronomic Festival kicks off in Dénia. We will be there with two proposals made with local produce.

Once again, Samaruc Restaurant will be present at the DNA Gastronomic Festival of Dénia. For us it is an immense pleasure to support this initiative organised by the Dénia Town Hall and the Valencian Tourist Board together with the chef Quique Dacosta who acts as gastronomic commissioner and spokesperson.

Gaspachos

For this special occasion, we propose two dishes made with local and traditional products, such as tiger nuts and marcona almonds, among others. One of our main objectives is to maintain our commitment to local producers. This allows us to obtain a top quality product for the preparation of our dishes. On the other hand, we believe that in this way we are doing our bit for the sustainability of the local economy.

Our chef, Ismael BilbaoThe restaurant does not propose two easy-to-eat dishes that take us back to the flavours of yesteryear, but with a creative twist to drive your senses crazy:

- Horchtiger nut and almond ata with local cherry and pumpkin ice cream.

- Gazpacho of smoked green peppers with pickles and local almonds.

You can't miss the event this weekend. It will be held at the Paseo de La Marineta Casiana in Dénia on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm. It is an event that will bring together renowned chefs, local producers and, of course, local restaurateurs, all of them with exquisite proposals. Are you going to miss it?

Beyond lunch

One of Samaruc's weaknesses is salted fish and traditional cuisine, something that could not be missing in the traditional lunch of the area in a creative way.
