DNA Gastronomic Festival, we can’t miss it

EssencesThe second edition of the DNA Gastronomic Festival starts in Denia. We will bring two proposals elaborated with local products.

One more year Samaruc Restaurant will attend the DNA Gastronomic Festival of Denia. For us it is a great pleasure to support this initiative organized by the City Council of Denia and the Agència Valenciana de Turisme together with the chef Quique Dacosta who acts as gastronomic commissioner and spokesman.


For this special occasion, we propose two dishes made with local and traditional products, such as tigernuts, marcona almonds, among others. One of our main objectives is to maintain our commitment to local producers. This allows us to obtain a first quality product for the elaboration of our dishes. On the other hand, we believe that in this way we do our bit for the sustainability of the local economy.

Our chef, Ismael Bilbao, proposes two easy-to-eat dishes that take us back to the flavors of yesteryear, giving them a creative twist to drive your senses crazy:

Tigernut and almond horchatawith local cherry and pumpkin ice cream.

– Gazpacho of smoked green peppers with pickles and local almonds.

You can’t miss the event this weekend. It will be in the Paseo de La Marineta Casiana in Denia on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am and 7 pm. It is an event that will bring together renowned chefs, local producers and, of course, local restaurateurs, all of them with exquisite proposals. Are you going to miss it?
