Dénia enjoys great prestige. Some say that the best restaurants are found here. Not surprisingly, since it was declared a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in 2015, many visitors come here for that reason.

The truth is that Dénia's gastronomic offer is very varied and colourful.. From tapas bars, daily set menus, pizzerias, rice and seafood restaurants to avant-garde creative cuisine restaurants.

If you want to have a good lunch (we understand "lunch" as a mid-morning meal), you are sure to find a good place. The same applies if you are a traveller and eat out every day, there are plenty of restaurants with a reasonable, quality set menu.

I don't know if the best restaurants will be in Dénia or not.

What is clear is that we have excellent restaurateurs with magnificent proposals. We are proud to belong to this group of passionate foodies. In addition, we have a wonderful climate, local producers, consequently, a local produce fantastic. If we put it all together, it is only natural that more and more people say that the best restaurants are here.

For our part, in the Samaruc Restaurant we try to live up to what it takes to have a restaurant in Dénia. We offer a creative Mediterranean cuisineby our chef, Ismael Bilbaowhich, month after month, surprises us with a new tasting menu made with local products, in keeping with our commitment to the local local producers.
